Our nearest village,Gorges has a general store and a bar, and the nearby towns all have everything you may need from supermarkets and shops, to restaurants and bars. The gites are within easy reach of the many tourist attractions in the area, there's plenty to keep you and your loved ones occupied. However if you prefer to relax, the quiet location we are in could be just what you need to unwind and de-stress.

THe gites are set in the picturesque Normandy countryside and there is plenty for you to explore by car, on foot or on bikes. Close by are the Normandy D-Day Landing beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Le Mont-Saint-Michel, so there is plenty of history and culture to discover and enjoy . For those who want to relax, the gorgeous sandy beaches stretch for miles and are a clean and beautiful place to sunbathe, swim or play your days away. For people who are looking for more energetic activities, you can find plenty to do, such as golfing, fishing, watersports, horseriding, walking and cycling.
Lavender is a charming 4 bed roomed gite comprising of one double room and one twin room downstairs and one single room and one king upstairs. There is a main bathroom downstairs and a second en-suite bathroom off the downstairs double room. The main living area is a large, open plan lounge, kitchen and diner with a wood burner and has everything you need to make you feel at home. The gite is fully equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle and toaster. You will also have a CD player and a TV with a DVD player. A second seating area provides guests with a separate place to sit if required. Lavender gite has a garden for your use, or you can relax in the courtyard. We have a range of DVDs for our guests to use free of charge (conditions apply).

Ferme de la Fleur is a family run business. The current owners; Paul, Sara, Matt and Louise, moved out to the region in 2009 to enjoy a more relaxed way of life in the Normandy countryside, where family is a priority. The gites have been refurbished and redecorated to a high standard in order to allow our customers the best experience at Ferme de la Fleur.
The property was originally a farm, built in 1850. The outbuildings, which were at one point a piggery and stables, have been converted into gites, with gardens, surrounding a courtyard with a fountain as the centre-piece.
The original farmhouse is occupied by the current owners.
The property is situated next to a chateau, which is reported to have been built in 1590 and holds a lot of history.
